MEET Stephanie
Welcome to A Delightfull Life! My name is Stephanie. I am a full time dietetics and healthcare professor as well as helping my son's learn how to do math with Touch Numbers! I love posting about my kids and the difficulties that have happened with them since they were born deaf as well as my life as a teacher! I hope you enjoy my website and find it helpful!

This is probably this biggest shock of my life! Having not just one of my children being born deaf.
Cochlear implants
Cochlear implants is not a term I was familiar with until I had both of my sons, and we had to have the conversation of "What are you going to do?" In 2016 - 2017 both of my kids got bilateral cochlear implants!
Being a teacher
I was raised by an English teacher and swore that I would go into some other profession. Turns out - apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Now that I am teaching dietetics, math, and healthcare I love my job and want to help other teachers as well.
Sign Language
My family is a total communication family which means that we use both spoken language and American Sign Language to communicate. Me and my kids are fluent in ASL and use it everyday. It is such a beautiful language!
